As it starts getting cooler outside, life gets cozier and cozier. These are my visions for upcoming looks this fall: (1) merging of feminine and polished sensibility with the ease of a favourite cardigan and (2) pleated chiffon skirts peeked out from hearty sweater dresses. Ummm…can’t wait!

I know I haven’t posted in while but, at the moment, my life is entirely consumed by an appellate brief I need to submit for my advocacy class. Actually, FashionistaTalk is pretty much my only distraction from Westlaw right now, but then again, sometimes a little distraction is a good thing. I wore this light romper in Korea for a day of sightseeing and kimchi eating. By the way, that umbrella is not decorative. It rained heavily almost everyday of my stay in Seoul. What do you guys think of the new design of the site?

I was lucky to have gotten away from studying last week for a night of ballet in San Francisco. George Balanchine’s Coppelia was a beautiful show – its lightheartedness a refreshing departure from the drama and tragedy of opera I so willingly subject myself to. I wore my new tulip Prada dress for this occasion. In a matter of one night we became pretty acquainted: first in the rain, then on the train, and finally at the ballet.

What do you guys think of my new twisty-bendy necklace? I found it in a shop on Danforth when I was running some errands in preparation for the Cuba trip. You can mold it into whatever crazy shape you can think up or even wear it as a bracelet or headband; the possibilities are endless.
We Love Colors
The team of We Love Colors sent me this cute summer dress to style for my dear readers. While I kept this look in the navy and white colour scheme, the possibilities for styling such a dress are endless; especially considering that – as the name implies – We Love Colors offers an amazing variety of colour choices for every items they carry. How fun!
