This is what I’m wearing to school today. One of my classes was cancelled so I have a whole hour and fifteen minutes of edumacation today. My professor just walked in the door so I gotta run. Have a wonderful day everybody.

School is back in session and so far I’m enjoying my second year of law school. In Korea, a partner at the law firm where I clerked told me that part of the reason that South Korea has seen such rapid development is due in part to their non-procrastination approach to life. I plan on adopting this “approach”…so I too expect some developments
. I wore this silk floral dress by Chris Benz, from the 2009 Resort Collection, for an evening of shopping in Tokyo with my classmates.

My Toronto trip is coming to an end so I’m running around all day in preparation for my next destination. For this errand-running-mission, I paired comfortable Lida Baday pants with a loose Brunello Cucinelli top that mom bought me while I was in Cali. The boho-chic fringe bag is so over the top that it takes center stage, as I imagine will often be the case in upcoming looks. That’s a lot of fringe for a little bag, which should look interesting with a maxi.

I was lucky to have gotten away from studying last week for a night of ballet in San Francisco. George Balanchine’s Coppelia was a beautiful show – its lightheartedness a refreshing departure from the drama and tragedy of opera I so willingly subject myself to. I wore my new tulip Prada dress for this occasion. In a matter of one night we became pretty acquainted: first in the rain, then on the train, and finally at the ballet.
jean-pierre braganza
I’m not sure if it’s just that Christmas jingles are finally getting to me, but I’ve been gravitating towards red and burgundy tones more than ever. There is something so dramatic yet feminine about them, so fierce yet warm. I spent my Christmas in this silk dress by Jean-Pierre Braganza, a Canadian designer living in the UK. Interestingly enough, Denis Gagnon is Canadian too. All this Canadian talent makes Lida a happy girl.
