I was originally planning on posting all of the pictures from my trip to Toronto before making Tokyo posts. But Tokyo is too exciting for me to wait so I decided to alternate between the two cities. Today’s pictures are of the Toronto variety; from a night when we went out for drinks on College St. and later in Yorkville. I paired a strapless jean dress, that I picked up in San Francisco on Ashbury and Haight, with a statement necklace and light heels. I often reach for large, elaborate pieces when working with open decolletages. They are fabulous way of minimizing some of that vulnerability.

In law school I spent so much time with my guy friends that I couldn’t wait to be with the girls in Toronto. This visit back home is shaping out to be primarily about this and I’m loving every second of it. My recent summer looks have been accessories heavy. I noticed a little pattern emerging – the more fun I’m having the more accessories I tend to wear…at least when I’m with the girls

The weather was so beautiful while we were preparing for exams that I remember picturing myself by the pool as soon as exams were over. I pictured a bright bikini, a large hat, mohitos, and something festive playing in the background. Well I tried that today, with my Michael Kors straw tote in hand and everything else I described. Only as soon as I just about finished with my set up it started raining. Um, so now I’m inside…still hoping that my dream could materialize today.

My first year of law school is officially a wrap! I can hardly believe it. It has definitely been ‘an experience’ and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same after this emotional roller coaster of a year. Today is going to be about getting my apartment in order, laundry, putting the books away, and packing. Time to start my next adventure .

I really should be working on my memo right now so I’ll keep this brief. The La Raza banquet was great but the decision to keep the party going at a club is responsible for the horrible migraine I’m experiencing right now. Some guy at the club told me that I look like I just won an oscar…funny . Ok, memo time.
