This is officially the last of my Thailand posts. No more assumption-of-the -risk tuk tuk riding in Bangkok or Tom Yum Goong eating in beautiful Koh Samui. Chok dee Thailand.

tweed revolution
As you may have noticed, FashionistaTalk has gone through some major changes in the past little while. One of its biggest and most exciting development is coming soon. Can’t wait to share it with you! This tweed collared jacket and super tiny matching shorts are a relatively new addition to my collection. I’m rediscovering tweed this fall so stay tuned.
chiffon blouses out of context
I’m on fall break right now and it’s hardly a break at all. I take it as my opportunity to catch up with school work and prepare for the chaos that is law school exam period. Riding a scooter in Thailand was just a tad more exciting but that’s okay.
a dose of greens and oranges
In this look I took the eccentricity of Marni and mixed it with a simple linen top, and chiffon petals. This look is all about texture, colour, and playfulness. I just kind of let Consuelo Castiglioni’s couture sensibility inspire me.
sea gypsy
Now that I finally got my advocacy brief out of the way, I’m spending the weekend on my family’s sailboat. When I’m playing sailor for a couple of days, I try to keep it pretty nautical – horizontal stripes, navy and white color schemes, casual blazers, and rope-inspired details. It’s nice to switch it up every now and then – law student by week, sea gypsy by weekend. Lol, this coming from a person who sails, maybe, twice a year. By the way, how amazing are these squirrels at the marina…super inquisitive and friendly.
