Tip: Try playing with light, colour-blocked looks in sweet ice cream shades. (2) Water-world-inspired etherial gowns. The best examples of this trend were the coral adorned dresses of Alexander McQueens collection. (3) Exposed midriff. Tip:  Keep the belly button under wraps, exposing just a tasteful flash of skin below the bandeau. (4) Art Deco flapper cocktail dresses. (5) 50s couture shapes.

This Friday didn’t go exactly as planned and the opera outing is still pending, but I made sure to get a little more acquainted with these babies regardless.  Well, as it turns out, the earrings are pretty heavy and kill my earlobes…but the pain is worth it.  Anything for Lanvin.
