Now that exams and out of the way and I’m officially on break, I can finally resume my FashionistaTalk responsibilities. I feel a little guilty for neglecting them the last couple of weeks, so hopefully this giveaway will help smooth things over

Hooked on my Mon Mode
A few days before leaving for Japan, my friend Ksusha and I spent a day in downtown Toronto – perfume shopping in Yorkville, dim summing on Bay Street, and later taking a walk through my old University of Toronto campus. The sweet people of Mon Mode were kind enough to send me this snakeskin purse hook and I have to say, while I never had used one before, it’s been in my bag ever since. I love that it has has a mirror. Functional and stylish…gotta love that!

I just handed in a final memo for my Legal Research & Writing class. It feels good to be completely done with something this year. The general feeling of freshness that comes with Spring seems to be inspiring lightness in my outfit choices. I might be going through a “little-dress + statement-necklace” phase. We’ll see where that takes me…
my milly dilly remix
As you might have noticed, the last three posts included the same chiffon, Milly blouse. There is actually a perfectly good explanation for this “un-fashionista-like” behaviour. These posts are part of my Milly Remix Series for the Teenvogue Wardrobe Remix contest. It asked of its participants to choose one piece of clothing they love and style it three different ways, so I chose my beloved sheer blouse.
