I know I haven’t posted in while but, at the moment, my life is entirely consumed by an appellate brief I need to submit for my advocacy class. Actually, FashionistaTalk is pretty much my only distraction from Westlaw right now, but then again, sometimes a little distraction is a good thing. I wore this light romper in Korea for a day of sightseeing and kimchi eating. By the way, that umbrella is not decorative. It rained heavily almost everyday of my stay in Seoul. What do you guys think of the new design of the site?

I’m visiting my family in Toronto and trying to savor every moment of it. I wake up early and go to bed late just to make my days longer here. My “day 1″ outfit in T.O. was comprised of a light silk top, cropped pants, and matching heels. I paired this combo with a Chan Luu necklace to break up the monotonality with some color and a touch of crystal. I’m always so inspired in this city…more to come shortly.
moroccan valentines
My dear brother and our friend Josh took me out to a Moroccan restaurant/lounge for Valentine’s Day and it was fabulous. Being thousands of miles away from home, I am so lucky to have spent the night with people who love me. It was a night of belly dancing, yummy food, hookah, good conversation, and a lot of laughs. I later got a chance to take a bunch of balloons back to my apartment and wake up in a cloud of hearts floating above my head. Magical

Blue Friday
Today’s look-of-the-day is from one of my trips to Santa Clara, Cuba. I’m wearing a light silk dress with a butterfly pattern outlined in golf. I love wearing silk on warm nights when the breeze makes the skirt flutter and sway. It feels and looks so feminine and adds a whole dimension of romanticism that makes vacations even harder to resist. As you can probably tell, I can’t wait to go away again. I really should change the background picture on my laptop because the sight of the gorgeous ocean and the rich, white sand is not helping the matter. The only thing it’s doing is adding to the restlessness and irritating me a little.
