We’ve all heard the saying, “fashion goes in cycles.” Well, there are certain posts that I’m not quite ready to let go of so I decided to create a new category. I’m calling it Oldies but Goodies. Basically, once a week I will be resurrecting one of my favorite looks from the past for your viewing pleasure.
Alberta Ferretti
the season of cashmere
As it starts getting cooler outside, life gets cozier and cozier. These are my visions for upcoming looks this fall: (1) merging of feminine and polished sensibility with the ease of a favourite cardigan and (2) pleated chiffon skirts peeked out from hearty sweater dresses. Ummm…can’t wait!
suit me
As part of the Japanese Business Law class I was taking in Tokyo this summer, we got to visit their patent office and Supreme Court. I welcomed the opportunity to get out of the classroom but the intense heat and humidity of Tokyo summers was making it a little difficult to enjoy wearing business attire. I quickly simplified my looks to a light blouse over a silk camisole and a pencil skirt. A sacrifice of one layer needed to be made in the interest of preserving my sanity

final stretch…
My life is all about exam preparation at the moment. I just need to make through this final stretch and then its officially SUMMER – my favourite word in the English language.
forms, shapes, and colors
This post captures moments from the “second activity” I mentioned in the last post – parusing museums and galleries with my mom over the break. It was so nice to have my photographer back, the funniest photographer alive. Your sense of humour makes forms, shapes, and colors in art that much more fascinating.
