violet to school
This is what I’m wearing to school today. One of my classes was cancelled so I have a whole hour and fifteen minutes of edumacation today. My professor just walked in the door so I gotta run. Have a wonderful day everybody.
in a heartbeat
Today I found out what Koreans have for breakfast – kimchi and meat – the same thing they have for lunch and dinner. It has also been raining in Seoul everyday since we got here, so I’m getting to know the Monsoon season pretty intimately. A Coach umbrella and Coffee Shop rain coat are my trusty companions everywhere I go, and as you can imagine, this redundancy can really get to a fashionista. Looking forward to some dry days of a Korean summer.
in time for spring
I picked up this simple little dress at a vintage shop in San Francisco and it has become one of my library favourites. Conveniently enough, its fabric never seems to wrinkle and its loose fit makes it comfortable to sit in for hours. As the deafening silence of the library room and the double vision from excessive reading begin to shut down my senses, I can look down at the pattern of the dress and it completely finishes the job…leads to official loss of sanity

in the hammock
It feels kind of funny writing about vacation clothes and posting these resort pictures from Cuba because it’s all so remote and unrelated to my current lifestyle. But I still want to show some beach looks for the lucky fashionistas for whom there might be a prospect of coconuts and hammocks in the near future. For the last couple of trips I started including a few one-piece-bathing-suits for variety, which come in handy on the days when you might want to take it easy with the tanning and would rather lounge around in the shade. Throw a sheer or knitted top over it and wrap a scarf into a turban, and you are ready for a day of poolside glam.
