I never thought I would say this, but as much as I loved my Cuba vacation, it’s truly nice to be back. I have tons of looks and stories from my trip to share with you guys and I’ll have to pace myself by spreading them out over multiple posts. In fact, there will be so many vacation outfit ideas that I’ve decided to dedicate a full category on Fahionista Talk to them. The category will be called Resort and it will house all posts related to tropical-vacations.
This little silk jumpsuit is what I wore for the 3.5 hour flight to Cuba. If I was stuck on the plane any longer I might have regretted wearing a one-piece garment; they are not exactly easy to manage in small confinements…(if you know what mean 
). I also kept my black asymmetrical cardigan close by at all times, which kept me cozy and warm when needed.
Some more tips for flying smart and in style:
* Pack most essential and precious items into your carry on. I’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember and it has alleviated a lot of the worry around delayed and lost luggage. Don’t forget to include at least one of your favorite bikinis in the mix.
* Bring wetnaps
* Pack at least half as many bikinis as there are days in your vacation. Not only is it simply more fun this way, but the variety in fit and coverage will minimize bikini lines.

I'm in love with this look and the way you shot it, so modern and striking. The jumpsuit's beautiful, but I agree with you, I did a roadtrip in a romper recently and it was not necessarily the wisest idea haha.

Welcome back!!! I myself just came back from a conference in Portland OR. Lots to catch up. I am glad I'm not the only person on earth who wears heels on a plane. About the jumpsuit, I find it very inconvenient to wear, period, let alone on a plane. I am forever puzzled on how it works when nature calls.

Yeah I really don't mind wearing heels on planes (especially for short flights). In terms of the jumpsuit it always is a challenge when it comes to that, no matter how creative you are

I've got the same coach bag, but in the smaller size and in black. I've thought about buying the same size you've got, but I would just hate to carry something so heavy on my hands. Was your bag heavy?
This time it was a bit heavy but I usually put it on top of rolling carry-on of the person I'm traveling with or find some other alternative. This time around my brother was kind enough to carry it for me most of the time. I just love how much it fits though. I bought it with the intention of also using it for work on set so I needed something that could fit a lot of random stuff. Overall I really like this bag.
