  1. Goodness you are brave walking New York in pumps. You look hot in that silk blouse and mini skirt. Great ring! Swarovski is my new love nowadays. Just got a few items, such as a snake bangle and a ring. Love their design. Will definitely blog them soon. BTW, you just got yourself an online blogger buddy who happens to LOVE spicy food too. If you ever come and visit Boston, I will surely recommend some good restaurants to satisfy your appetite.

    • Vicky you are such a cuttie. It seems like we have some things in common – love for spicy food and swarovski. I would definitely like to know what those restaurants are when I come down to Boston, because you know how long it usually takes to finally find the good ones. BTW, to be honest, I didn't walk in those heels the whole time. I had a pair of flip flops in my purse so I would alternate whenever heels got to me.

  3. Really love the blouse! So pretty and dainty. ^^

  4. I love this outfit but I think you're VERY brave to wear heels while walking around New York. I'm also jealous that you're in NYC right now, and I'm stuck in Toronto where it's crazily hot.

I'm a big fan of your blog–and I love to see some of the local spots that I photograph in as well. Keep on-a-postin'!

  5. It is not just only the wheather, the pictures are hot as hell! Thanks for sharing them wih us.
It is a pity that I just change planes tomorrow in NY and don't have time to walk the city.

  6. The guy checking out your legs in image 14 is hilarious! :)

  7. Love this outfit. I'm heading to Manhattan again in August for the third time. Any good restaurant suggestions? We had brunch at Pastis last time and I loved it.

    • Pastis?…I'm going to try it next time. I can't say that I found any restaurants yet that I would definitely recommend in New York. The places I've eaten at were good but nothing earth shattering, to be honest. I have some amazing suggestions for Montreal restaurants and if you ever decide to go there let me know. You must be excited about your upcoming trip though? I hope to go to Manhattan again before the end of the summer :)

  8. I absolutely adore everything about this outfit! You look stunning :)

  10. I love the collar detail on this blouse. You look so chic with your lingerie showing through. I've never had the balls to try this in real life, but I love the look!! Hope you're enjoying New York (how could you not)! xo

    • Thanks Becca. New York was super cool, as usual. Like most people, I'm crazy about that city. You know what…for the longest time I had a pretty strong aversion to even abstracted display of undergarments but I now feel that, if the bra is opaque enough, it really can work with some sheer blouses and tops (especially when it's vintage inspired). I feel that somehow vintage inspired lingerie is generally less sexy and revealing than the more current stuff.

  11. So my best friend and I decided on Sunday morning that we wanted to go to NYC for the day. We hopped in the car and 2 hours later we parked and breathed in a lil city air. We just left the parking garage and were walking down 5th Avenue when I saw this gorgeous girl in a black skirt and pink shirt (my fav color combo) getting her picture taken as she walked across the street. I said to my friend- “how fun! I wonder if she is a blogger?” Flash Forward to today when I stumble upon your blog and there is the girl I saw in NYC! I wish I would have been a fan sooner because I would have loved to have met you. I'm a fan now :) Love your blog and love your style. So glad you had fun in NYC!
