I’m out in New York right now and will post the pictures of today’s look tomorrow. This silk Marc Jacobs dress is what I wore to the last opera of the season, Maria Stuarda. I didn’t want to bother with the parking downtown, so my mom and I decided to take a subway for a change; hence the title.
On the walk over from the subway station to the opera house, I saw a huge flock of birds congregating on the grass by the statue and I thought it might make for a cool shot. I devised this plan to quickly walk towards them, while my mom waits for the perfect moment and snaps a picture of them sporadically, yet collectively flying off. Only I seemed to had forgotten one simple fact. These are Canadian pigeons and they apparently know their right to “lawful congregation.” No matter how quickly or closely I approached, they just kept doing their thing with absolutely no reaction to my presence. (lol) What was I thinking.

You look beautiful as ever. May I ask a silly question? How did you manage to walk in those heels. I am taking the transit all the time and find it so difficult to walk in heels.
Well it wasn't too far of a walk and I'm very used to heels. I can run and jump in heels, which kind of shocks people sometimes. I think it's just practice really. The important thing to remember is not to keep your knees bent as you walk, because that puts a lot of pressure on you back and misaligns your body. Thanks for the question Trishna
